This hand-printed linocut card captures Westport’s much-loved Clock Tower, one of the town’s most recognisable landmarks. Erected in 1947 on the site of an old fountain, the Art Deco clock stands where High Street meets Bridge Street and Shop Street, a familiar meeting place for locals and visitors alike. Affectionately known as “The Four-Faced Liar” for its occasionally conflicting timekeeping, the clock holds a special place in Westport’s history and character. Each card is individually lino printed by hand, with subtle variations in the ink giving every impression its own unique charm. A little piece of Westport to send, frame or keep.

Hand-Printed Linocut Greeting Card
This original linocut greeting card has been drawn, carved and hand printed by me, inspired by the familiar landscapes, nature and places of the west of Ireland.
Each card is individually printed by hand, meaning there may be small variations in the ink, texture and impression. These little differences are part of the traditional linocut process and make every card unique.
The design is printed in black ink onto a quality card and is blank inside, leaving plenty of room for your own message. It comes with a matching envelope and is suitable for birthdays, thank you’s, celebrations or simply sending a little piece of the west to someone.
As each card is handmade, the finished print may vary slightly from the photograph shown. Colours may also appear a little different depending on your screen.
